Hero MotoCorp's new sports bike leaked, work on the bike is in full swing, will have a 300cc engine

Now apart from the powerful adventure motorcycle, the country's largest two-wheeler company Hero MotoCorp is working hard on a new full-faired sports bike. Recently their full fairing prototype model was spotted on the roads. Sources claim that it will come with a 300-cc single cylinder engine. Hero is also testing the Pulse 400 ADV with their most powerful engine. 

Which is going to get 421 cc engine. According to sources, the 300 cc sports bike is in the final stages of testing. It is expected to hit the market before the Pulse 400. It could be launched by the end of this year or early next year.

The name of the upcoming 300 cc bike is not known. Its engine is estimated to produce a maximum power of 25 bhp and 20 Nm of torque. Hero is launching the bike to take on the likes of KTM RC 200 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. The price is expected to be kept under Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). It may rank above the Hero Xtreme 200S. Hero MotoCorp may even bring the bike as a flagship model.

It should be noted that in the last few years, there has been a huge rise in the 250-cc segment in this country. Sales are increasing at a rate of 50 percent annually. Again 250-300 cc bikes are seen selling 40,000-45,000 units per month. The segment in which Hero is yet to launch. As a result, Hero hopes that the upcoming 300 cc bike will open up new possibilities for the company.

It is still unclear whether the 300 cc sports bike will be marketed under the name Hero. However, one side claims that the company may add a new member to the Xtreme family, making it logical to launch a larger performance-oriented model using the Xtreme brand name. But according to another quarter, Xtreme is primarily known as a premium commuter brand. In that case, Hero can bring back the once popular Karizma name in the market In that case its name will be Hero Karizma 300.
