Royal Enfield: 650cc Bike Bsa Unlo is going to launch in 2023

Mahindra's subsidiary company Classic Legends (BSA Motorcycle) unveiled a concept model of their new Scrambler bike. BSA unveiled it at the Motorcycle Live show in Birmingham, UK.


Note that this scrambler bike will be based on the platform of the company's Goldstar 650 i.e. engine and other components.

BSA Goldstar 650 has already been launched in several European markets including Britain. Next year the bike will enter the Indian market as well. The new Scrambler model features a 652 cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder engine. Which is also present in Goldstar 650. While there is no official word on the engine output yet, it is speculated to produce 45 HP of power and 55 Nm of torque.

Being a scrambler, it has the right hardware to cope with off-road. Like long travel suspension with high fenders. 19/17 inch Ayer spoke rim setup. The wheels also have dual-purpose Pirelli Scorpion STR tires. It also features a braced handlebar, headlight grille, curved footpegs, upswept dual exhaust tips.

The motorcycle features a tear-drop shaped fuel tank, single piece seat and monopad instrument console. The prototype model of the Scrambler will come as the big brother of the Yezdi Scrambler. The list of safety features includes single disc brakes on both wheels. However, the final model is expected to offer dual ABS.

BSA is yet to announce the launch date of the bike. It is expected to hit the market next year. Currently the company is testing their Goldstar bike in India. It can be imported from Britain and sold in this market.
